Initial Donation Report

Joe and I spent the weekend going through the numbers. Although there are a couple expenses we're still accounting for, we figured at a minimum we will be donating $6,057 to Pro-Life charities from the Essential Classics of Catholic Spirituality launch.

We think that's AWESOME!

If you participated in the Essential Classics launch, thank you very, very much.

If you did NOT, then you should sign up to be on the "early bird" list for the re-launch so you won't miss out a second time. Here's the link:

God bless and thanks to everyone that helped us give these charities an extra Merry Christmas!

It's finished

Whew! The launch is now over and Joe and I are STILL sorting through all of the orders to get everything finalized. (Here's a good idea of what Joe's desk looks like right now). We'll work over the weekend to get the final tallies out to you next week.

But the bottom line is that it was a HUGE success. Thank you because together we accomplished alot. Now it's time to relax and enjoy your Classics collection. Advent's just around the corner and I know I'm going to start off with a re-reading of (who else) St. Augustine.

For those who missed out on the launch: I'm sorry. We tried to give you as much advanced warning of the deadline as possible (some would complain that we sent TOO MANY emails on that subject). The next best thing is to sign up for the "early bird" list so you'll know first when the electronic AND hardbound collections will be made available again.

Go to this link to sign up:

http://www.prolifesearch.com/essentialclassics.html

For those who pre-ordered the first two hardbound volumes: We are putting those together as we speak and will make them available to you first. We'll be sure to post an update here as well as send you an email on the matter before we ship them to you.

For those who ordered in time for the Fr. Trigilio teleseminar bonus: As of this writing, Father says he can make some time either in the early part of January or later in that month. We'll match up his schedule with ours and nail down a final date for you. We will notify each of you by email after we sort through the orders this weekend to let you know if you made the Bonus #1 cut.

That's it for now. Thanks again and I sincerely hope the Classics we put together are a tremendous help for you in the coming liturgical seasons. Please feel free to email us and let us know how you're enjoying them.

God bless!!

A few member questions

Here are a few questions we've received from a number of members. We thought it would be easier to just set up this "FAQ" in case others have the same questions.

To check out info on the Essential Classics collection. Go to this link:

http://www.prolifesearch.com/essentialclassics.html

Q: Gentlemen: I’m thinking seriously about purchasing this – I like the idea of having it on the computer rather than in book format – but given that it’s ten volumes, I’m concerned that it may take up excessive space on my hard drive. How much space would it take up?

Answer: about 10MB (10.7MB to be exact) for the entire collection

Q: The links wouldn't open for me and I asked for help. Didn't want to miss out on the chance to order. The link Patte emailed worked and I've placed my order. Thank you so much -- for the collection, and for your help! God bless you!!!!

Answer: Ok, that's not really a question. But the point is if you have trouble with anything, email us at ClassicsSupport@prolifesearch.com.

Q: How do I know if i was in the first 100 for the teleconference?

Answer: All who made it before the quota was filled will be emailed later in the week.

Q: Is the information avaliable for Canadians? The ordering page looks like it's for US customers only.

Answer: We can receive orders from any country in the world. I've noticed that many of those who've purchased already are from outside the U.S.

Bonus #1 almost gone

A quick update. . .

It is tough keeping a handle on the numbers -- things are just moving a bit too fast right now -- but we are getting really close to selling out the first 100 copies of the collection.

That, of course, means that the bonus follow-up teleseminar with Fr. Trigilio will be sold out soon. Only the first 100 buyers will get in on the teleseminar (this is because we only have 100 lines available).

If you get to the web page and the teleseminar bonus does NOT have "sold out" by it, then it is still available. Once the 100 spots are gone, we will note it on the web page by placing "sold out" next to it. You can check here:

http://www.prolifesearch.com/essentialclassics.html

It looks like it will probably be sold out overnight and I'll try to update the page as soon as possible. Your best bet is to place your order for the Essential Classics collection tonight. Here is the link again:

God bless!

It's finally here!

Just a super-quick note.

The Essential Classics of Catholic Spirituality is now available. You can check it out at this link:

WARNING: It's a pretty long page. We tried to keep it short, but describing all the components of the collection took a lot of space.

God bless!

Audio Sample #2

Things are really flying here. . . we're only a few days away from the Essential Classics of Catholic Spirituality launch. It's both exciting and hectic keeping up with the hundreds of emails we're getting in everyday. Our lovely and talented "Princess Secretary" is working overtime just to keep up with all of them.

I just wanted to give you this second audio sample from one of the Volumes in the collection.

It's St Therese Lisieux's Autobiography Story of a Soul. This chapter covers her remarkable trip to Rome. You've just got to hear her story. It's truly amazing.

Here's the link:

Audio Sample #2

Remember, we're only offering this collection for 4 days starting Monday November 13th. After that we're pulling it to concentrate on other projects to help support life. So do not miss out.

God Bless!!!

Concern #2

Here's an email from one of our many, many members who signed up to get the Essential Classics of Catholic Spiritualiy (as I post this, that number is up to 1,677).

"You guys are great and I can't wait to get the classics collection. But I'm worried that I won't be able to really enjoy the books if they're on my computer. Why don't you offer them in regular bound versions instead?"

This is an important concern that Joe and I initially had as well. So let me respond. . .

We enjoy physical books as well as eBooks. That's why we are planning on making the collection available in a hardcopy, leather-bound, limited edition set. We've actually got his in the works right now (more on that later).

If you buy the collection electronically, you'll be able to also purchse the hard-copy edition for a super low discount. You'll basically be able to get it for just over our cost. But we're only giving this discount to people who purchase the electronic version next week. . . and remember we'll only be offering the electronic version fro FOUR DAYS.

The other reason it's important to have masterpieces like these on your desktop is that more and more of us are collecting important works, documents, and data on our hard drives so we can access and search these documents for important sections with the help of our computers. So the electronic version is a definite "must-have" for our modern computer age. And of course we wanted to get them ready as soon as possible so you can use them to prepare your mind and heart for the coming of Our Lord this Christmas.

But lastly (and probably most importantly), we wanted to raise as much money in as short a period of time so that we can make massive donations to out Pro-Life charities in time for Christmas. After all, that's why Joe and I started ProLifeSearch in the first place. By offering these works for electronic download we can not only get them to you in time to increase your spiritual preparation during Advent, but we can also give our charities and those they help an extra Merry Christmas.

The launch is just days away (November 13th), so get excited and tell everyone you know. It will only be available for FOUR DAYS and when it's over. . . it's over.

God bless and keep those emails coming!

Audio Sample

The date is finally fixed! On November 13th we'll offer the Essential Classics of Catholic Spirituality (stay tuned for the exact time).

We can't wait to finally get these Classics to you -- and it's only a week away!

But remember. . . they will only be available for FOUR DAYS. After that we're probably not going to offer them again until 2007. And we might not offer all 10 volumes. We might just stick to the 6 basic classics.

Speaking of those 6 "essentials," Joe and I found audio samples of some of the Classics (thanks to American Catholic.org) and we want to share those with you.

This one is a sample from the Little Flowers of St. Francis, which will be included in the final collection. This sample tells the exciting story of how St. Francis tamed the fierce wolf that was terrorizing a town. The Little Flowers is also a powerful spiritual tool for all of us to reflect upon the great humility of this holy saint.

Here's the link to the audio sample:

We hope you enjoy it.

P.S. -- Joe and I have put together an exciting pricing plan in order to get these classics to as many people as possible. We can't wait to share it with you on the 13th.
